The oils and herbs in our Eternelle facial oil were specifically selected to fortify and stimulate cell renewal for enhancing skin tone and elasticity, whilst also accelerating collagen production and promoting deep hydration to the skin.

OILS
Hibiscus sabdariffa oil
Derived from the vibrant calyces of the hibiscus flower, boasts antioxidant-rich
properties that nourish and rejuvenate the skin, promoting a youthful glow and combating the signs of aging.
Commonly referred to as the skins ‘botox plant’ due to its high alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA’s) and anti-inflammatory compounds which specifically help to minimise wrinkles, age spots and increase skin elasticity.
Its antioxidant properties help to decrease the effects of sun damage, pollution and other environmental stressors.
Caryodendron orinocense oil
Extracted from the seeds of the Sacha Inchi plant, is a powerhouse of omega 3
fatty acids and antioxidants, deeply nourishing the skin to enhance its elasticity, smoothness, boost collagen production, promote cell regeneration and reduce the appearance of wrinkes.
It is revered for its vitamin A and vitamin E content and considered to be a superior ingredient for natural, organic anti-aging skincare products.
Opuntia ficus-indica oil
Derived from the seeds of the prickly pear cactus, is a skin rejuvenating elixir rich in vitamin E, linoleic acid, betalains, providing intense hydration, promoting skin elasticity and offering potent antioxidant protection for a radiant and resilient complexion.
Anti-inflammatory properties assists skin healing and repair damage caused by UV rays and environmental pollution.
Lycium barbarum oil
Sourced from the nutrient dense berries of the goji plant, is a skincare treasure trove offering age-defying health benefits for the skin. Loaded with essential fatty acids, vitamin A and vitamin E, this oil repairs and protects the skin by stimulating intracellular oxygenation, stimulates blood circulation, accelerates cell turnover and attenuates melanin deposits such as age spots and freckles.
It is exceptionally light in texture and therefore ideal for daily use for the face and other delicate areas such as around the eyes.
Mauritia flexuosa oil
Extracted from the vibrant fruits of the burahem palm, is known by natives as ‘the tree of life’ due to its calming, soothing and reviving properties. It is enriched with antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamin E which deeply moisturise and nourish the skin while promoting elasticity and providing a natural
radiance for a lustrous and healthy complexion. It also comprises the richest source of beta-carotene, a supercharged nutrient to boost collagen production and cell turnover as well as neutralise free radicals and fade pigmentation.
Sclerocarya birrea oil
From the kernals of the marula fruit, this is a luxurious youth-promoting elixir rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants making it one of the most stable oils available. It facilitates wound healing, repairs skin damage caused by pollutants, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and prevents the skin from losing hydration.
In addition to its skin enhancing properties, it has also benefitted African communities producing the oil and empowered African women with work and a sustainable income for their families in tribal lands.
Moringa oleifera oil
Extracted from the seeds of the moringa tree, it is a superior oil for mature skins. It is deeply nourishing to the deeper layers of the skin without leaving a greasy residue or clogging pores. Rosa rubiginosa oil

Punica granatum CO2 oil extract
Obtained via the crushed seeds of the pomegranate fruit, is a highly concentrated oil that is rich in vitamin C, B5, potassium and polyphenols.
The polyphenol, ellagic acid, is a potent antioxidant used specifically in anti-aging formulations to protect the skin against free radicals, reducing the visible signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles and promoting a more radiant appearance.
HERBS
Boswellia sacra resin and Commiphora myrrh gum resin
Together, form an oleoresin via a gentle processing technique to extract the active properties. The waxy resin is ground into a powder and incorporated with jojoba
oil to impart its active properties. The oil solution is filtered and used with other oils in skincare formulations. Specifically, this oleoresin combination is prized for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and rejuvenating properties. It promotes skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines, strengthens and regenerates the skin’s protective barrier and contributes to a calm and balanced complexion.

Panax ginseng root
Helps to slow the loss of collagen, helping skin to retain elasticity by boosting blood circulation to the area. The main constituent found in ginseng is ginsenoside which specifically acts as a whitening agent and is packed with antioxidants (flavonoids) to help protect skin from exposure to pollutants and UV rays. Ginseng also possesses anti-inflammatory properties to reduce facial redness and puffiness and rejuvenate tired, dull skin.
Centella asiatica
A key herb for its brightening, hydrating and soothing properties. It’s antioxidant properties (flavonoids, phenolic compounds) can prevent skin dulling by revitalising the skins protective barrier and mitigating the damage of pollution and UV rays.

Withania somnifera root extract
Contains an abundance of antioxidant compounds (ascorbic, caffeic and ferulic acids) which collectively help to defend the skin from environmental stressors and reduce visible signs of skin aging. Equisetum arvense
Contains the highest amount of silica than any other herb. It strengthens connective tissue, increases resilience and flexibility, resulting in a more youthful appearance and tone.

ESSENTIAL OILS
Helichrysum splendidum
Commonly referred to as ‘Immortelle or Everlasting oil’ grows and thrives in the most depleted of soils under harsh conditions. This essential oil is deeply nourishing and rejuvenating to skin, helping with cell turnover and localised tissue healing. It also has antioxidant and antiseptic properties.
Energetically and emotionally, Helichrysum splendidum essential oil is healing and balancing. It can help heal emotional trauma and older emotional wounds.
Santalum album
Produced from the heartwood of the Sandalwood tree, is highly prized in skincare for the ‘alpha-santalol’ a compound that gives a deep distinct woody aroma as well as being responsible for its biological effects both internally and externally. It provides healing and deep nourishment to the skin, helping to reduce imperfections and promote a healthy smooth complexion.
Emotionally and energetically, sandalwood essential oil is commonly used in meditation for its grounding effects, to quieten the mind and reducing nervous tension. It also has uplifting effects to enhance mood and to warm and nourish the spirit.
Daucus carota
Is made from the steam distillation of the carrot seed and is highly recommended
for mature, damaged and environmentally stressed skin. The essential oil offers a high level of antioxidant support and promotes cell regeneration to revitalise, support and deeply nourish all skin types.
Energetically, carrot seed essential oil is grounding and soothing to the mind. It helps to dispel feeling of worry, calms anxiety and assists with promoting deep relaxation before sleep.
Rosa damascene
Is extracted from the delicate petals of ‘Rosa damascena’ flowers. It is revered for
its calming and uplifting aroma and used extensively in skincare formulations for its soothing, rejuvenating and toning properties. It enhances natural skin glow by improving capillary integrity (helps superficial broken capillaries, scarring and rosacea). Ideally suited to dry, sensitive or mature skin, particularly to soothe hot skin conditions and inflammation. Cooling and calming!
Energetically and emotionally, rose essential oil has wonderful uplifting and anti-depressant properties. It helps to ease anxiety, promote relaxation and a sense of calm.
